Documentary:

History of Greene, is the untold and largely unknown story of Greene County, New York, the scene of 10,000 years of human history where Archaeology records the battles of prehistoric men and mastodons. With the arrival of Henry Hudson the County became an engine of commercial, industrial and artistic enterprise whose reach was national, at one time second only to that of New York City. It was here that the American Romantic Movement in the Arts was born including the nation's only native school of Painters, the Hudson River School of Art. American Tourism, another historic beginning for the nation, took place in the grand hotels that arose on the heights of the Catskill Mountains. History of Greene is an exciting litany of change, events and personalities, an entertaining anecdotal history full of surprises.
